“ A nice brew pub spot with burgers and wings with standout appetizers like cheese curds. A huge beer selection that makes it hard to choose! We like that they have a patio with heaters and TVs. ”
“ I went recently with my daughter for lunch and it was excellent! The food is delicious,Since we both had to get back to work we were not able to try any of their huge selection of beers but we will return soon on a weekend. ”
“ We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon, after running errands nearby. First time here! We stopped in for a beer and a snack. Just as we walked in my boyfriend spotted 2 seats at the bar. We informed the gentleman that welcomed us in that we would be seating ourselves at the bar I think it's great service to have a really busy afternoon and someone came to us in less than a minute after walking in to get us seated. Excellent! The minute we sat at the bar the young blonde lady gave us menus. She didn't take long to come back and take our order. I love that especially since the bar area was packed. I'm so glad you have stouts because that's what my boyfriend likes and very rarely we find them anywhere else. I love Belgian beer so that was awesome that you had that too! Yay! We decided on Nachos for our snack. Boy, that was definitely 2 meals on the platter. Thank you! I highly recommend them, plenty of meat compared to other places and it was moist and delicious. These are definitely the best nachos I've had anywhere in the area. The brew cheese is made with an IPA beer, so good! Just the right amount of jalapeños too! We love spicy food and didn't have to request more. The lighting and choice of dark wood furniture is very pleasing and the bathrooms are clean and very modern. I personally, can't wait to go back! Thanks again! ”
“ Yum!! Many beer choices (but only two stouts ). We ordered the full sized nachos & wrecked them, they were delicious! Perfect size for two my gf and I. Not a real big place but lots of tables & about 15 chairs at the bar. We arrived about 3pm on a Sunday & found 2 bar seats right away. The crowd was chill but energetic. Its a mix of customers with famalies & friends with sports on tv above the bar. I could see parking being a problem at times but we found a space without waiting. The entryway is flat with no ramps or stairs. We will definately visit Brew City again. ”
“ I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Staff was helpful, my meal served promptly and my burger delicious (Steve Austin). With 25 beers on tap, and after sampling three New England style IPAs, I selected Humble Sea's "Socks & Sandals." I will return in the future! ”
“ Pleasantly surprised. Thought it was going to be an average brew pub type of place but it is a notch above most others in its class. Now even though they have lots of TVs playing sports, the interior looks like it used to be something else, like it could have been a sitdown Mediterranean place. Big windows and their ceiling light fixtures have this coastal Spanish/Greek vibe. Very decent beer list, like almost nothing you'll see from a store, very modern craft selection, I'd say most from Cali. I like they have 2 sizes for pours with none of them being huge 22+ ouncers. The smaller size is actually a half pint, which to me is better at drinking more than 1 and you want to try more than 1 flavor. But their beer listings are on TV monitors in about 3-4 spots and not every table has a direct view of one. I had to get up on one visit multiple times to see what I wanted next. Another time it was directly above me, so not a fan on how they are dishing out their offerings/info. Now the food is where I really think they tend to elevate. Sure many of the things are what you'd find at other brew pubs like sandwiches, burgers, wings but in what I have tried and seen from other dining mate's plates, that this is a tad better than most. Brew City Pizza ($10/3.5*) They actually have 2 sizes and I was able to get this smaller size once to serve as an appetizer. It is more like a personal size but when sharing 2-3 peeps can have a couple of small slices each. This is like a combination with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onions and roasted red peppers. The Crust: is crazy thin. Super crisp on the edges and soft and droopy in the center. You don't get a whole lot of yeast bread vibes, it actually reminded me of pita bread. Not really my jam but it still held onto the toppings okay. The Sauce/Cheese Ratio: decent, fresher tasting tomato sauce not that thick paste-y kind. Good amount of cheese that is noticeable and quite melty. Toppings: Good quality on most. The sausage was really crumbled tho to where it resembled saw dust versus clumps of sausage. And I liked the combination of all these toppings. Caeser Salad with added Fried Chicken ($15/4.5*) Salad part was ideal, good dressing and tossed with fresh lettuce and lots of parm. The chicken part was surprisingly good, moist thigh meat and a well done crust that was light yet had a good subtle crunch. Lightly seasoned which actually worked with the salad as it kept everything nice and light. And you don't see too many places offer fried chicken as an add for salads. They have grilled chicken too. Steak and Avocado Sandwich ($23/4*) This is basically an upscale cheesesteak with a few slices of avo on top. They use super thin slices of ribeye and they cook it properly. A little browning, seasoned on the light side and gruyere cheese totally melted into the chopped steak. Good roll too thats got a squirt of a tangy aioli. I got fries and it is the battered type that I don't care for. I should have looked a little more closely as they offer several sides, and this kitchen could probably do some good versions. They also have a specials sheet where you can get a pasta of the day and a more substantial meat plate for dinner. I could totally revisit as this place is a good fit for me. ”
“ Too many places to choose from when your in the Bay area, nonetheless I decided on Brew City Grill. Staff was super friendly and the ambience was very relaxing and laid back. They definitely did not mind that we were still killing time before we checked into our hotel. Ana was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful. Our food was great from the variety of beers on tap, to the sides and burgers and pizza. Everything was flavorful and high quality. Well worth the price. ”
“ MENU AND FOOD: Brew City Grill cooks up a good selection of bar favorites, such as burgers, pizzas, salads, and other plates like nachos and pozole. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service is quick and efficient. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. Their decor is appropriate and appealing. PARKING: They have a shared lot, which can get busy at times. IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: We get their pozole verde every time, which is always delicious! The bowl serving comes with a side of tortilla chips. We've also had their loaded nachos and California burger, which are well made and tasty. They also have a good selection of beers on tap. ”
“ Met up with a friend for drinks and a meal. We decided to check out Brew City Grill. They have a good selection for food and craft beer, ciders, etc. Nice and spacious brewery. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was friendly and attentive! I didn't catch her name but she was very professional and made sure everything was good and she kept refilling our drinks/water. Stubborn Craft Soda Black Cherry Tarragon (free refills). Good flavor, not medicine tasting, but a good cherry flavor. A couple of us decided on the Oktoberfest Menu. Served with kasespatzle and German cucumber salad. Reuben Sandwich: Corned beef, German sauerkraut, Gruyère, dark rye, 1000 island dressing, brew pub mustard, and horseradish aioli on the side (4/5). Reuben...messy deliciousness. The kasespatzle had good flavor with the bacon, onions, amd butter. Pork Schnitzel: breaded pork cutlets, mushroom bock beer gravy, German sauerkraut (4/5). Seasoned and fried to a golden brown. The mushroom bock beer gravy was rich and went well with the cutlets. Steve Austin Burger: BBQ sauce, onion crisps, sharp cheddar, bacon, fried serrano chile, brioche bun. Served with choice of side. Burgers are cooked to medium unless specified. The chiles are spicy, for some. The bun was soft and the burger had a lot of flavor. We all enjoyed what we ordered and will be back! ”
